Priority Primary Care Centres (PPCCs)

Four PPCCs are now open in south east Melbourne, providing treatment for urgent non-life-threatening conditions including mild infections, sprains, broken bones and minor burns. PPCCs are open 7 days a week for extended hours at no cost to patients.

MyMedicare is Australia’s new voluntary patient registration model. It will enable a blended funding model that sits alongside fee-for-service while strengthening the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner (GP) and primary care teams.
