Board Nominations for 2022 have closed
Our Board is one which embraces alternative thinking, innovation, strategy, influence and strong governance. We are seeking to enhance the diversity of our board to compliment the skills and experience required for the effective oversight and governance of SEMPHN’s activities.
SEMPHN is is a Company Limited by Guarantee and as such has an independent Board of Directors, which reflects modern governance standards and expectations.
How do Board appointments work?
The current SEMPHN Board may comprise up to nine directors whose terms currently expire on a three-yearly basis (staggered in the first triennium). Retiring directors have the right to apply for reappointment. This provides for an annual cycle of Board renewal, with the Board’s Nominations Panel reviewing applications prior to the Annual Meeting in November each year.
There are six Board meetings every year and a number of Board Committee meetings throughout the year.
Key dates
- 10 August 2022: Applications open
- 6 September 2022: Applications close
- 4 October 2022: Interviews for candidates
- 23 November 2022: Board approves newly appointed members
If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an interview in the first week of October 2022 with a view to have Board Directors appointed at the SEMPHN Annual General Meeting on 23 November 2022.
