SEMPHN is committed to providing support to staff working in primary care, and supporting and establishing local professional networks.
The Practice Network Meetings for practice managers and practice nurses are held every second month. Each meeting presents a different topic and key speaker and all participants receive a Statement of Attendance. Participants also have the opportunity for informal networking with other practice and SEMPHN staff during these meetings.
Download the 2024 Practice Network flyer for a complete list of dates.
Local networking events provide an opportunity to connect with like-minded practice managers to share ideas, experiences, and to provide and seek support.
The APNA Online Community is a space for members to seek support, advance their knowledge, and share their own wisdom.
Visit SEMPHN’s events calendar to register for the next network opportunities, including Practice Networks, peer-to-peer support opportunities and networks from other peak bodies.
SEMPHN offers an online platform called Basecamp to enable practices to stay connected and share information and resources with their peers.
Practice managers and practice nurses in the catchment can request to join Basecamp by contacting their Provider Support Officer (providersupport@semphn.org.au) or by calling 1300 331 981 (option 3).
