These new members bring invaluable expertise and experience, joining our six existing members to help address the healthcare needs of communities across south east Melbourne.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to retiring Board members Alison Roberts, Dr Michael Cross and Micaela Drieberg whose contributions have significantly helped shape our organisation and impacted the health landscape of our community.
Cris Massis - Cris is CEO of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and Director of Saint George Consulting. With a career focused on service-based organisations across a variety of sectors including healthcare, finance and professional sport, Cris has in-depth leadership experience, knowledge and governance exposure of high-performing service-based organisations.
Cris has also previously been a member SEMPHN’s Clinical and Community Council (CCC).
Kirstan Corben - Kirstan is well known for her corporate governance and executive leadership across the health, community and sport sectors within Victoria. She holds the position of Board Chair with Better Health Network, a leading community health service in Melbourne.
Dr Tim Ross - Tim has over 25 years of experience in health care as a general practitioner and corporate clinician. Tim is currently Deputy Chief Health Officer at Telstra Health, responsible for clinical governance and operations across all digital solutions.
The Board plays a pivotal role in driving SEMPHN’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan: Path to Impact. Chaired by Sue Renkin, the board’s collective guidance and professional insights are crucial to delivering high-quality, measurable, and equitable health outcomes to our region.
We look forward to the perspectives our new members will bring as we work towards creating a more equitable and person-centred health system, helping the people of south east Melbourne live their healthiest lives.
